DAY

Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati – Bhalukpong (255 km / 7 hours)

Arrive at Guwahati Airport, meet your guide, and drive straight to Bhalukpong on the Assam-Arunachal border. Complete inner line permit checks and stay overnight.

Day 02: Bhalukpong – Dirang (140 km / 8 hours)

Drive to Dirang, stopping at the Tipi Orchid Centre to see rare orchids. Visit the Dirang Hot Spring and local apple orchards. Stay overnight in Dirang.

DAY

Day 03: Dirang – Tawang (130 km / 7 hours via Sela Pass)

Drive over the high-altitude Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and stop at the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Arrive in Tawang for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Tawang local sightseeing:

Explore the massive 400-year-old Tawang Monastery, Tawang War Memorial, and local craft markets. Stay overnight in Tawang.

Day 05: Tawang - Bumla Pass / Madhuri Lake:

Take a day trip to Bum La Pass (Indo-China border) and the scenic Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), subject to special permit approvals. Return to Tawang for the night.

Day 06: Tawang - Bomdila (170 km / 8 hours)

Drive back down the mountains to Bomdila. Visit the Bomdila Monastery and local shopping markets. Stay overnight in Bomdila.

Day 07: Bomdila - Kaziranga National Park (220 km / 6-7 hours)

Descend from the hills and drive straight into Assam's famous wildlife country, Kaziranga National Park. Check into your wildlife resort for the night.

Day 08: Kaziranga National Park - Guwahati (260 km / 5-6 hours)

Enjoy an early morning jeep or elephant safari in Kaziranga. Drive to Guwahati, check into your hotel, and visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple in the evening.

Day 09: Departure from Guwahati:

Enjoy breakfast, check out of your hotel, and transfer to Guwahati Airport for your return flight home.
